The Parish Council have applied to Teignbridge District Council (TDC) for an increase from 8 to 10 in their number of councillors.
This application is made following the approx 20% increase in parish population in 2014 with the completion of the Ogwell Brook development being now followed by the approx further 10% increase with the expanded parish boundary recently approved.
The Electoral Reform Office has agreed to the conducting of a review, hopefully to be completed in time for the May 2023 elections. The Terms of Reference will be published tomorrow and the review process will commence on Monday 28th November. The Terms of Reference will contain the complete timetable for the process.
